Products, brands and AI work

Everything Alex has designed, built and shipped — from a patented product to AI-native startups.

• Hiring starts with a conversation.

  BigBreak

Job search is broken with new job listings getting an average of 450 applications and ATS screening out the majority of those. Meanwhile, AI is replacing entire workforces with the entry job market down 35% in just 18 months, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Hiring starts with a conversation, not with a cold application, so I developed BigBreak to help candidates be seen and start a conversation with the hiring team, while our AI handles all the repetitive form-filling and cover letter drafting and outreach that eats away at a candidates week, every week.
• Work from anywhere

  SunShader

The original patented laptop sun shade that lets you, and your team, work from coffee shops, co-working spaces, the beach, the pool, your backyard or balcony, airport, airplanes and AirBnBs. SunShader has sold almost $2m of inventory since its inception in 2020 during the global pandemic... when the whole world began working remotely. Although heavily ripped off by factories in China, the likes of which were supported by Amazon, I take pride in coming up with such an original innovation and proactively enabling it to market before others. This journey pulled on many skill-sets, most notably my product design, e-commerce, DTC, GTM, content strategy, branding, PR, Manufacturing and global logistics, selling in 50 countries worldwide.
